Building Dreams: 10 New Homes in Manjeshwar
More Than Brick and Mortar: A New Chapter for 10 Families
In the heart of Manjeshwar, a profound transformation took place this Thursday. What were once blueprints and dreams are now sturdy walls and safe havens. My Community Foundation officially inaugurated 10 newly constructed houses, handing over the keys to families who have long awaited the security of a roof over their heads.
The ceremony, graced by Manjeshwar MLA AKM Ashraf, was a celebration of collective willpower. Speaking to the gathering, the MLA lauded the Foundation’s "noble services," particularly recalling how these same hands provided vital food kits and support during the dark days of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Foundation Treasurer Ameer Abbas shared the journey of the project, highlighting that the mission of the Foundation has always been about "brotherhood and humanitarian work." From emergency relief to permanent housing, the goal is to ensure that the economically backward sections of our community are never left behind.

The event saw a beautiful gathering of local leaders, including Gram Panchayath President Gean Lavina Monteiro and Kunjathur Khateeb Hashir Hameed, all of whom joined Foundation Chairman Ashraf Abbas in witnessing the joy of the beneficiaries. For these 10 families, this isn't just a building—it's the foundation of a new life.
